My mom used to always say "compliment your plants and they'll grow better". We used to laugh, but I've learned over the years how true that is. If complimenting your plants helps them grow, imagine what speaking kindly to yourself could do. It allows your nervous system not only to trust you, but become more of a partner. We are currently stuck in a culture of "you against your body", but the reality is your body is FOR you. Always
Speak these affirmations over yourself every morning when you wake up and make note of what begins to change. Any changes are worth noting.
There is nothing wrong with my body.
My body is for me. I am for my body. We are a team.
